Prenatal Yoga at the Yoga Center of Columbia
This is an ideal practice for embracing this wonderful time in your life. Yoga postures and breathing exercises will be practiced to enhance your knowledge, health, confidence and comfort during your pregnancy and in preparation for birth. Different pregnancy and birth topics are discussed in each class and all postures can be modified as needed for any stage of pregnancy, injury or complications. No experience is necessary and pregnancy is a perfect time to be introduced to the many benefits of yoga.

Why Pregnancy Yoga? It's scientifically validated! Yoga helps reduce the stress and anxiety of pregnancy which can lead to many pregnancy complications such as premature birth, low birth weight, developmental problems in children and mental health problems in moms.
